Farfish's Pledge to ANZ, Perpetual and Minister Turnbull about the pulp mill: Without govt subsidies the Gunns mill is not viable, let alone the full environmental cost to Tasmania, our rapidly diminishing last great wilderness and a food industry built on its clean green reputation. I can't see why ANZ would back a project that loses threefold, that will send us backward from the Kyoto agreement and is very likely to be among the first to be made even less viable by govt initiatives at the upcoming Bali conference. With such reckless and irresponsible investment policies, I would feel obliged to remove my mortgage from your bank.
Debs's Pledge to ANZ, Perpetual and Minister Turnbull about the pulp mill: Anyone who proposes to support the building or funding of this pollution-belching forest-destroying factory has no values. Single minded $Greed$ is no way to make good decisions. Consider the real cost of this proposal and give Gunns their marching orders.

Mari's Pledge to ANZ, Perpetual and Minister Turnbull about the pulp mill: Listen to the people! Build the mill in a suitable location, and that is NOT the Tamar Valley. Dont let greed and money override common sense. Build the mill, and like a burns victim the Valley will be scarred forever.

Inalu's Pledge to ANZ, Perpetual and Minister Turnbull about the pulp mill: There are three stances of people regarding this issue:
Those who want to bring about this pulp mill because they have vested interest in it (ie: will get work or make money out of it)
Those who are indifferent (and often but not always uninformed)
And the rest of us... Majority.
Do you ever get off YOUR but (excuse the language) and stand up so actively for what you believe in??
Im sure there's a figure for it but MOST people dont. Most people like me leave it up to the activists, the go-getters, the greenies, the hippies, the people that make a noise... They're not being heard. Which is why i am finally standing up and shouting (along with stacks of other people), we simply aren't being listened to! I dont want to be here typing an email! I want to be going on facebook or writing up my job application for a promotion i am working towards, but i don't to pollute the Tamar valley, i love their wine! And i don't want my asthma to get worse, I live in Launceston (not far from the site) and have already been hospitalised for my chronic condition without the extra air pollution!
Please listen to the people. Dont fund this pulp mill.
